In light of recent events on social media, Nollywood actor Yul Edochie has suggested that Wizkid’s behavior may be connected to the emotional turmoil of losing his mother.
Wizkid ignited a social media storm by taking jabs at Don Jazzy and engaging in a heated exchange with Davido.
Edochie expressed his opinion that the outburst from the Starboy Entertainment boss could be a result of underlying psychological issues.
In a video message shared on his Instagram page, Edochie remarked, “Many may not grasp the true depths of Wizkid’s current struggles. But let me tell you, it stems from the anguish of losing his mother.
“Losing a mother inflicts a profound pain. It’s a pain that can shake your faith, your understanding of life, and prompt irrational behavior. The loss can drive you to the edge of despair, making you act out of character and question your very existence. It’s a torment that clouds your judgment and sense of self. This is the turmoil Wizkid is facing.
“Regrettably, our world often amplifies this pain instead of offering solace.”
It is worth mentioning that Wizkid’s mother, Jane Dolapo Balogun, passed away on August 18, 2023, in London.
Wizkid has openly expressed the deep sorrow he feels from losing his mother, emphasizing that the pain cuts deep.
