Authorities from the Adamawa State Police Command have apprehended a man for an alleged sexual assault on his one-year-old stepdaughter
The 30-year-old, Idi Adamu, is accused of sexually assaulting his infant stepchild.
In a report issued on Friday, the Command disclosed that Adamu was taken into custody on Wednesday based on a report filed by the child’s mother, who is also his spouse.
As per the statement released by Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Ngurore, the suspect resides in Wuro Ardo in Mubi North Local Government Area, the site of the incident.
