Leicester City Manager Enzo Maresca Suggests Ndidi May Stay

In a recent statement, Leicester City’s Enzo Maresca hinted at Wilfred Ndidi’s potential future with the club.

The energetic midfielder’s future with the Foxes could be at risk this summer as other clubs show interest.

With Ndidi’s contract set to expire at the end of June, discussions for a new deal have not yet begun.

Despite this, Maresca is already looking ahead and considering Ndidi in his plans.

Speaking to Leicester City Mercury, Maresca stated, “I’m thinking already about the future. It’s good to start thinking about how we could improve next season. Hamza could be an option there; Wout (Faes) could be an option; and Wilf (Ndidi) could also be an option to do that kind of job.”

During the 2023/24 season, Ndidi managed to score six goals and provide six assists in 36 appearances across various competitions for Leicester City.
