Latest Updates: JAMB Reveals Previously Withheld UTME Results for 2024


Recently, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, commonly known as JAMB, has made public an additional 531 UTME results from the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination.

In a statement circulated by the board’s spokesperson, Fabian Benjamin, through NewsNow on Tuesday, the development was confirmed.

The total number of released results now stands at 1,842,897 as stated by JAMB officials.

Per the provided communication, “As assured earlier, the Board is currently scrutinizing over 64,000 held results. Alongside, 531 additional results have been disclosed, leading to a total of 1,842,897 outcomes being made public.

“Furthermore, during the assessment, an additional 11 cases of exam malpractice were identified, bringing the total to 92 from the previously known 81 cases.

“JAMB is also actively investigating instances concerning unverified candidates and intends to formulate a stance soon.”

It is worth mentioning that the Registrar of JAMB, Prof Ishaq Oloyede, had announced the publication of the 2024 UTME results back on April 29.

Nevertheless, Oloyede explicitly mentioned that 64,624 outcomes of the 1,904,189 examination participants were put on hold by the board for further scrutiny.
