Confirmation has come from Nollywood actress Etinosa Idemudia on receiving a refund from Big Brother Naija reality star Pere, following her public call-out over an outstanding debt.
Initially taking to her X handle to express her intention to take legal action against an ex-BBNaija contestant for unpaid dues, the actress later informed her followers that she had indeed been reimbursed.
Identifying Pere as the debtor, she mentioned that he was compensated for a movie role but did not fulfill his end of the agreement.
Etinosa also took the opportunity to remind the reality star that she holds a senior position in the entertainment industry compared to him.
In a post on her X handle, she stated: “I have received the payment in full. Dear @PereEgbi, if you realize you are unable to complete a job for which you were compensated, it is best to return the funds respectfully. Upholding your integrity is crucial. By the way, let me make it clear that I stand on a different level from you in this industry. Cheers.
“We seem to tolerate unacceptable behavior far too often in this profession. If you are incapable of honoring your commitments with a producer, refrain from accepting payment.
