Kwara State Governor Urges Christians to Use Easter as a Time to Renew Their Faith in God

Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq of Kwara State has encouraged all citizens, specifically Christians, to take advantage of the Easter festival as an opportunity to strengthen their faith in God and come together for the progress of the nation as a whole.

Delivering his Easter message to the public on Friday, the governor called on individuals to support each other in upholding righteousness and justice in society.

He extended his warm wishes to the Christian community in Kwara State and throughout Nigeria as they celebrate Easter, emphasizing that this period symbolizes enduring values such as love, sacrifice, empathy, unity, and the victory of good over evil.

Reflecting on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and the significant legacy he left for humanity to follow, the governor emphasized the importance of contemplating these teachings not only during Easter but on an ongoing basis.

His felicitations for a joyous Easter celebration to the Christian community were conveyed through a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Rafiu Ajakaye, in Ilorin.
