Kwara State Governor Applauds Ogun Cargo Airport

In a recent statement, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, the Governor of Kwara State, lauded the Gateway Agro-Cargo International Airport as a significant development in Nigeria’s aviation industry.

During a visit to his Ogun State counterpart, Dapo Abiodun, at the Governor’s Office in Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta, the Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum expressed his admiration for the project.

AbdulRazaq also highlighted the inauguration of the 6km Siun-Owode Road in the Obafemi Owode Local Government area as part of his activities in the state.

Regarding the Iperu International Cargo Airport, he remarked, “It is my second or third time landing there, and I must say it is more of an economic airport, which will revolutionize operations in the future.”

He added, “The airport will ease the burden on Lagos airport in terms of cargo handling, especially with the development of industrial parks funded by institutions like AFDB and AFREXIM Bank.”

AbdulRazaq also acknowledged the efforts of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in providing essential grains to alleviate the current challenges faced by the populace.
