Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu: Marriage, Cooking, and Love Languages

Married for two decades with a family, Mrs. Mojisola Hunponu-Wusu, the founder of Woodhall Capital, shared that she has never taken on the task of cooking in her household.

On ‘The Diary Of A Naija Girl’ podcast, Hunponu-Wusu revealed the time constraints that have prevented her from engaging in cooking or other household chores.

Interestingly, she mentioned that her husband doesn’t mind her avoidance of the kitchen, suggesting that cooking might not align with his specific way of expressing affection.

Instead, she focuses on activities that cater to her husband’s preferences.

Reflecting on her situation, she expressed, “In my two decades of marriage, I have never been the one to handle cooking duties in my home.

“Finding time for cooking and various family-related tasks is a challenge due to other priorities that align with my purpose and personal identity.

“Perhaps, my husband doesn’t particularly value cooking as a way to connect. He likely appreciates other contributions I make given that we have three children.”
