Breaking his silence, Nigerian artist Skiibii addresses the accusations made by video vixen and influencer Nicki Dabarbie, claiming he tried to involve her in ‘ritual’ practices.
Dabarbie has taken to social media to accuse Skiibii and Mayorkun of trying to engage her in “ritual” activities during a boat cruise invitation extended by Skiibii.
In a post on her Instagram story accompanied by a picture of her in the hospital, she also alleged that they deployed “fake police” to physically assault her and confiscate her phone while she was live on social media.
Skiibii, in response, labels Nicki Dabarbie’s claims as “false,” asserting that her intentions are to smear his reputation.
He mentions that he has reported the matter to the police.
Addressing the situation on his Instagram story, he states: “While I usually maintain silence amidst media attacks, I find it imperative to address recent developments, particularly in the face of spreading misinformation. I am determined to no longer allow anyone to tarnish my name, knowing I am not one to run to the media to defend myself.
“Although I have chosen to stay quiet in order to maintain peace, I believe it’s time to rethink that stance. The truth will eventually be revealed.
“First and foremost, I want to make it clear that the stories being circulated by individuals and various blogs are entirely inaccurate, and the truth will eventually emerge from all angles.
“I have made a report to the Nigeria Police Force because I have nothing to hide, and I have confidence that they will conduct a thorough investigation. This time, I will allow the legal process to unfold completely.”
