Improvements for Arsenal suggested by Michael Owen

Former Real Madrid striker, Michael Owen, has identified three Premier League stars who could potentially enhance Arsenal.

Arsenal, managed by Mikel Arteta, have had a successful season so far.

Currently placed second in the Premier League standings, they have accumulated 71 points from 32 matches.

With just a two-point gap behind leaders Manchester City, they also surpass Liverpool in third place based on goal difference.

Owen is of the opinion that Arsenal could benefit from the additions of Ollie Watkins, Alexander Isak, and Ivan Toney from the Premier League during the upcoming summer transfer window.

Addressing the rumors linking Watkins, who plays for Aston Villa, with Arsenal, Owen mentioned to Premier League Productions: “He is consistently evolving as a player each season.”

He continued, saying, “He possesses traits that could seamlessly integrate into Arsenal’s squad, although the feasibility of securing his services remains uncertain.”

Owen further remarked, “The current Premier League houses several players who could potentially elevate Arsenal’s current squad.”

He also highlighted, “Players like [Alexander] Isak at Newcastle, Ivan Toney at Brentford, and Ollie Watkins at Aston Villa could offer significant value to Arsenal.”
