High-level Meeting in Abuja: PDP Caucus Unites

Bringing together prominent figures such as former Vice Presidents Atiku Abubakar and Namadi Sambo, as well as former governor of Rivers State and Minister of the Federal Capital Territory Nyesom Wike, the PDP National Caucus is currently in a closed-door session.

This gathering of party stakeholders is a pivotal event that precedes the National Executive Committee meeting and lays the groundwork for key decisions at the NEC gathering.

Oftentimes, consensus reached by the National Caucus is swiftly adopted by the NEC; however, in cases of disagreement, eligible NEC members will cast their votes in favor of or against the proposed issue.

Arriving at the ongoing 44th PDP National Caucus meeting at the Bauchi State Governor’s Lodge in Asokoro, Abuja, they were accompanied by their loyal supporters within the party.

Among the attendees are the Chairperson of the PDP Governors Forum and Bauchi State Governor Bala Mohammed, Rivers State Governor Sim Fubara, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees Adolphus Wabara, PDP Acting National Chairman Amb Umar Damagum, and former governor of Jigawa Sule Lamido, among others.
