Harry Kane Smashes Record as Bayern Munich Draws 2-2 Against Real Madrid

In the UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg, Bayern Munich’s striker, Harry Kane, achieved a remarkable feat by breaking a competition record with his goal in the 2-2 draw against Real Madrid.

The match at the Allianz Arena saw goals from Kane, Leroy Sane, and Vinicius, resulting in a deadlock between the two teams.

Kane confidently converted from the penalty spot, increasing his tally to 43 goals in 43 games for Bayern Munich across all competitions in his outstanding debut season.

His goal against Madrid also propelled him to break the record for the highest number of goal contributions (11) by an English player in a single Champions League campaign, with eight goals and three assists in this season’s competition.

The former Tottenham Hotspur star has now eclipsed the achievements of Steven Gerrard and David Beckham, both with 10 contributions each.

Kane’s focus now shifts to guiding Bayern towards victory in the upcoming return leg against Carlo Ancelotti’s side next week.
