Carlo Ancelotti Picks Out 2 Real Madrid Stars for Praise After 2-2 Draw with Bayern in UCL


Following the thrilling 2-2 draw in the Champions League semi-finals first leg against Bayern Munich, Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti has highlighted the performances of two of his players.

The intense first leg clash at the Allianz Arena saw Real Madrid initially taking the lead with a goal from Vinicius Jr, which was later matched by Leroy Sane before Harry Kane nudged Bayern in front.

Nevertheless, Vinicius Jr managed to secure a late penalty spot goal to even the score.

Ancelotti commended the display of Toni Kroos, particularly against his former club, and highlighted Vinicius Jr’s intelligent movement.

“Toni Kroos is beyond words. He is a top-class player. His presence is crucial for our team; his timing and passing skills are exceptional,” Ancelotti shared with the press post-match.

“His passing abilities are unmatched and not everyone can replicate them. Additionally, Vinicius Jr’s clever movements were excellent,” Ancelotti added.
