President Buhari wished President Bola Tinubu a happy 72nd birthday on Friday, March 29, 2024, praising Tinubu for his ongoing efforts to address the nation’s challenges and sending well wishes for the day.
Buhari’s message was relayed through a statement signed by his Senior Special Assistant on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, titled ‘Former President Buhari greets Tinubu on his 72nd birthday.’
Tinubu had requested a low-key celebration, citing recent incidents of violence in Delta State and the prevailing insecurity across the country.
The Presidency, represented by Tinubu’s Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Mr Bayo Onanuga, disclosed the reasons behind the subdued celebration.
