Guardiola: Man City’s Victory Over Brighton Doesn’t Guarantee Title Win

In the latest EPL match, Manchester City secured a commanding 4-0 win against Brighton. Despite this victory, manager Pep Guardiola remains cautious about their chances of clinching the Premier League title.

The game saw Kevin De Bruyne netting the opening goal, followed by a double from Phil Foden in the first half. Julian Alvarez sealed the victory with a fourth goal, narrowing the gap to league leaders Arsenal to just one point with a game in hand.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Guardiola emphasized, “Our win today doesn’t automatically mean that we will win the title. Success is not guaranteed, and we must continue working hard to make it a reality. Brighton is a resilient team, and we had to find our rhythm in the first half, capitalizing on crucial moments to punish them.”

He added, “Securing a victory away at Brighton is always a challenging task, and we cannot afford to become complacent.”
