Governor Uzodinma Claims PDP is Plotting to Remove Oshiomhole from Office

Governor Hope Uzodinma of Imo State has accused the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) of orchestrating a plan to humiliate and remove Adams Oshiomhole as national chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC).

Stating that there are established rules for removing party officials that have not been followed, the APC Governor warned those involved in working against the party to refrain from invoking the name of President Buhari to achieve their “wicked plan”.

Speaking to newsmen in Owerri, Uzodinma said,

“Many of us, leaders of the party, are aware that those pushing for the chairman’s removal are collaborating with the PDP to destabilize the party.

“But they will fail because we will not allow them to humiliate our national chairman out of the party through illegal means or by dropping the name of Mr. President.

“So, I advise those invoking the name of the President in their plans to desist immediately. He has committed no wrongdoing and no amount of propaganda and illegal schemes can succeed in removing him from office.”
