In a recent statement, Seriake Dickson, the former governor of Bayelsa State, shared his insights on how Rivers State can maintain peace amidst the conflict between Governor Sim Fubara and the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, emphasizing the importance of restraint.

Dickson encouraged Fubara to uphold restraint, underscoring the risks associated with unchecked power.

During a visit to Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, Dickson commended President Bola Tinubu and other leaders for their efforts to foster stability in the region, both publicly and behind the scenes.

Highlighting the significance of political maturity, Dickson advised Fubara, stating, “The responsible exercise of power necessitates restraint, and your demonstrated composure is crucial in maintaining the peace we currently enjoy in the state amidst ongoing challenges.”
