FCCPC Takes Action Against Price Violations in Nasarawa Markets

Continuing its efforts to enforce price regulations, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) conducted a monitoring exercise at Masaka market in Nasarawa State on Friday to address price inconsistencies.

The FCCPC’s focus on ensuring compliance with pricing, quantity, and quality standards for sellers of consumable goods is a key component of its nationwide regulatory activities.

Recently, the FCCPC carried out inspections at two 4U Supermarket outlets in Wuse 2, Abuja. During the inspections, the Commission confiscated 94 bags of expired goods and other products.

Following this action, the branch located at 58 Adetokunbo Ademola Street, Wuse 2, was shut down.
