Fabrizio Ravanelli believes Napoli will face challenges in the absence of Osimhen

In high praise for Victor Osimhen, former Juventus striker Fabrizio Ravanelli expressed his doubts about Napoli’s ability to find a suitable replacement for the Nigerian forward.

Osimhen played a pivotal role in Napoli’s conquest of the Scudetto last season.

The 25-year-old netted 26 goals in 32 league matches, contributing significantly to Partenopei’s first title win in over thirty years.

Despite signing a contract extension with Napoli in December, Osimhen is anticipated to depart from the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium this summer.

Various top clubs like Paris Saint-Germain, Arsenal, and Chelsea are vying for the player, who carries a release clause ranging from €120-130m in his contract.

Ravanelli voiced concerns over Napoli’s prospects of finding a worthy successor to Osimhen if he departs at the end of the current season.

“Osimhen ranks among the elite forwards globally. His fearless and tenacious style sets him apart. Napoli will face a significant challenge in replacing him,” Ravanelli conveyed as reported by Napoli Magazine.
