Julio Baptista, the former Brazilian star, has revealed his prediction that former Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane will eventually take the reins at Manchester United.
Currently, Manchester United is under the management of Erik ten Hag, whose future at the club remains uncertain following a challenging season.
Despite finishing third last season and clinching the Carabao Cup, Ten Hag’s team has suffered 16 defeats in various competitions this term, sparking doubts about his tenure.
Amidst speculation, Zidane has emerged as a frontrunner for the managerial position at the iconic Old Trafford.
Expressing his strong belief, Baptista shared with Ladbrokes (as reported by Metro) his admiration for Zidane, stating, “Zidane was not just a teammate but the epitome of excellence. Having shared the dressing room with him was an unparalleled experience. His talent is unmatched on a global scale.”
Baptista further added, “I foresee a future where he will grace the Premier League as a manager. With his remarkable coaching prowess and a distinguished track record that boasts Champions League triumphs, it seems inevitable. I wouldn’t be surprised if he ends up at Manchester United.”
