EPL: Ten Hag confirms injury concerns ahead of showdown between Man Utd and Sheffield Utd

The forthcoming Premier League clash between Manchester United and Sheffield United at Old Trafford may see some key players sidelined due to injuries, says manager Erik ten Hag.

Both Marcus Rashford and Scott McTominay are uncertain for the upcoming fixture following their recent knocks in Sunday’s match at Wembley.

In addition, Alejandro Garnacho was forced off during the same game due to a fitness issue, as was team captain Bruno Fernandes. However, both Garnacho and Fernandes are expected to be available for the upcoming match.

Ten Hag provided an update, stating: “We had to make a substitution with Garnacho due to a problem, but he will recover. McTominay’s fitness will need to be evaluated, while Rashford is also a doubt. Bruno faced an issue, but I believe he will be able to play.”
