EPL: Gary Neville Calls for Man United to Give Erik ten Hag Another Season

In a recent development, Gary Neville, the former captain of Manchester United, has appealed to the team’s board to provide manager Erik ten Hag with another opportunity to reverse the club’s fortunes.

Amid escalating rumors surrounding Ten Hag’s future, Neville stands firm in his belief that the Dutch coach should be given the chance to tackle the challenges confronting the team.

As Sir Jim Ratcliffe’s INEOS team prepares to make decisions following the season’s conclusion, Neville underscores the importance of maintaining continuity, despite rumored interests in alternative managers such as Thomas Tuchel and Gareth Southgate.

Neville expressed his perspective during an interview with Sky Sports, stating, “I don’t currently see any viable replacements in the market. Even clubs like Bayern Munich are encountering difficulties in finding a new manager. Given the circumstances, I believe we should stick with Erik ten Hag and afford him another season, especially devoid of injuries which have plagued us this season. I believe providing him with another season is worthwhile to evaluate if we can return to the heights of last season, where we secured silverware, finished in the top four, and secured Champions League qualification.”
