Electricity Tariff Reduction for Customers in South-East by EEDC

An announcement from the Enugu Electricity Distribution Company (EEDC) reveals a decrease in electricity tariff for customers on the Band A feeders.

The Head of Communication, Mr. Emeka Ezeh, in Enugu, issued a statement on Monday conveying this update.

Following the directive from the National Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC), all 11 Discos have been instructed to adjust their charges for Band A feeders from N225/Kwh to N206.80/Kwh.

As per the statement, “Customers are hereby notified that the end-user tariff for our Band A feeders has been revised from N225/Kwh to N206.80/Kwh under MYTO 2024, effective from May 6, 2024.”

It is highlighted that the minimum 20-hour daily supply remains unchanged.

Customers are advised that the end-user tariff for Bands B, C, D, and E feeders remains unaltered.
