Crystal Palace Coach, Glasner, explains the 4-0 victory over Man Utd

Providing insights into their impressive 4-0 victory against Manchester United in the Premier League, Crystal Palace coach Oliver Glasner emphasized the effectiveness of his team’s performance.

The goals from Michael Olise (2), Jean-Philippe Mateta, and Tyrick Mitchell secured a well-deserved win for Palace at Selhurst Park.

Post-match, Glasner highlighted how his players displayed better game control than the Red Devils, especially in the second half.

He emphasized their improved consistency in fundamental aspects and efficient play against Erik ten Hag’s team.

“In the first half, our performance was not as consistent as we would have liked. Our defense left open spaces too frequently, enabling them to exploit gaps. However, we were clinical in front of goal, scoring some beautifully crafted chances,” Glasner shared during his interview with Sky Sports.

He further added, “Following some adjustments at halftime, the team responded well, demonstrating a much-improved performance in the second half, where we dictated the game more effectively.

“Our increased control led to numerous goal-scoring opportunities, and our enhanced focus on fundamental principles resulted in a fantastic win. I congratulate the team for their effort,” Glasner concluded.
