Ekiti United makes changes in coaching staff, Ayeni takes charge as head coach

Following a heavy 5-0 loss away to Smart City FC at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena in Lagos on Monday, Nigeria National League team Ekiti United has decided to part ways with their entire coaching crew.

Currently positioned 10th on the NNL table with 17 points, Ekiti United felt the need for a change in leadership.

To steer the team in a new direction, former Akwa United coach Ayodeji Ayeni has been named as the new head coach of the side.

This season, Ekiti United has seen five victories, two draws, and 10 defeats under their belt.

Ayeni, who previously handled Sunshine Stars, now has the task of guiding Ekiti United to better performances.
