Nasboi, a well-known skit maker and musician, has disclosed that he is facing death threats after expressing his disapproval of Wizkid’s comments about Don Jazzy.
He had rebuked Wizkid for making fun of Don Jazzy during a recent social media outburst on the Bahd And Boujee Podcast.
During an interview with Cool FM, the content creator shared that he has been bombarded with death threats following his remarks on the podcast.
He expressed, “It seems that as a celebrity, one is not allowed to have an opinion. Yet, an ordinary person on the street can freely express their views. They can say they prefer Wizkid over Davido, and that’s perfectly fine. So why shouldn’t I, as a normal guy who happens to be a celebrity, have the same right?
“As a result of my comments in the recent podcast interview, I have been receiving threats. It all boils down to a straightforward question: Was Wizkid disrespectful to Don Jazzy with his statement? I was asked directly, and I believed so. Referring to him as an influencer seemed off in the context. I would have felt offended. And just because of what I said about Wizkid, someone is now messaging me, saying I will suffer the same fate as my brother.”
