Manchester United legends criticizes two players for their performance

After Manchester United’s disappointing 4-0 defeat against Crystal Palace, club legend Paul Scholes didn’t hold back in his criticism of Casemiro and Christian Eriksen, suggesting that they are not suited for the team.

The match saw Crystal Palace dominate with two goals in each half, with Michael Olise and Jean-Philippe Mateta finding the back of the net.

Scholes particularly singled out Casemiro for his struggles against Olise, and raised doubts about Eriksen’s ability to match the physical demands of a club like United in midfield.

Reflecting on their performance, Scholes expressed his thoughts, saying: “You think of the likes of Casemiro, he’s tough to have a go at it. What a player he has been over the years, but that was tough to watch, he was on his backside most of the time.

“People like Christian Eriksen as well, the physicality in the middle of the pitch has gone.

“They shouldn’t be at a club of this stature, really.”
