Manager of Arsenal, Mikel Arteta, has expressed concerns over the availability of Bukayo Saka and Takehiro Tomiyasu for their upcoming match against Manchester United.
Saka was seen with heavy strapping during training this week, while Tomiyasu was absent from Thursday’s session.
Discussing the fitness of his squad, Arteta mentioned, “There are a few uncertainties that we hope to clarify after our next training session. We will need to wait and assess the situation.”
When pressed if his worries were centered around Saka and Tomiyasu, he confirmed, “There are a couple of players in question. Yes, those are the two being referenced.”
Arsenal currently sit atop the league table ahead of this weekend’s matches, leading Manchester City by just a single point, although City have a game in hand.
