The Ministry of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster management, and Social development has initiated the disbursement of N20,000 Conditional Cash Transfer to poor Nigerians in Anambra, Rivers state, Kwara, and Plateau states. This move is part of the palliative measures announced by President Buhari to ease the economic impact of the sit-at-home order.
This disbursement is specifically targeted at one million Nigerian families whose names are on the National Social Register (NSR). In light of this development, photos capturing the distribution of the N20,000 cash to Nigerians are available.

Recall that President Buhari on Sunday March 29, announced that some palliative measures will be put in place to help cushion the economic effect of the sit-at-home order which began in Lagos and Abuja on Monday March 30th. Part of the palliatives is the disbusement of N20, 000 to the poor and vulnerable Nigerians.
