Community crisis erupts in Okuama after soldiers leave, resulting in 1 fatality and 3 injuries

Following the withdrawal of soldiers who had been stationed in Okuama community in Delta State for 51 days, one person has been reported dead and three others seriously wounded.

Upon attempting to return to their community, the locals in Okuama were caught in a fresh crisis.

Reports indicate that residents who had fled the area ended up attacking those who had ventured into the ruins to scavenge for remaining items.
