In a recent podcast interview with Sway’s Universe, Nigerian singer David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, shared that besides Chris Brown, he has no plans to pursue collaborations with other American artists.
He expressed his anticipation for a potential collaboration with Rihanna following her declaration of his song ‘Unavailable’ as her favorite.
According to Davido, his track ‘Blow My Mind’ featuring Chris Brown is arguably the best blend of Afrobeats and American artists since Drake and Wizkid’s ‘One Dance.’
Regarding future projects, Davido stated, “Aside from Chris Brown, I’m not going to put in the effort for any other American collaboration. Rihanna praised ‘Unavailable’ as her top song, so I’m eager to collaborate with her.”
Highlighting the success of ‘Blow My Mind,’ Davido remarked, “Our collaboration was groundbreaking, following in the footsteps of ‘One Dance.’ “
