Reports suggest that Chippa United is considering a move for Richard Ofori, the goalkeeper for the Black Stars of Ghana, as a possible replacement for Stanley Nwabali.
Nwabali has long been rumored to be leaving Chippa United.
With his stellar performances for Nigeria’s Super Eagles during the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, the 27-year-old has drawn attention.
Clubs like El-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia and Queens Park Rangers in the Sky Bet Championship are reportedly interested in the talented goalkeeper.
As per Soccer Laduma, Chippa United has identified Ofori as a contingency plan in case Nwabali departs from the club at the season’s end.
Ofori is currently under contract with another South African club, Orlando Pirates, until the summer.
