Chelsea faces further injury setback ahead of Burnley clash

As Chelsea prepares for their upcoming Premier League match against Burnley, the team has been hit with more injury blows.

Earlier in the week, it was revealed that Romeo Lavia would be out for the remainder of the season due to a thigh injury.

Adding to their woes, Carney Chukwuemeka, Robert Sanchez, Trevoh Chalobah, and Ben Chilwell have all joined the list of injured players, as confirmed by the club on Thursday.

While Chalobah is undergoing light training, Sanchez and Chukwuemeka are currently in a rehabilitation program.

Chelsea’s manager, Mauricio Pochettino, is already missing key players like Reece James, Levi Colwill, Wesley Fofana, Lesley Ugochukwu, and Christopher Nkunku.

The team currently occupies the 11th spot in the Premier League standings with a total of 39 points.
