Charly Boy raises alarms regarding Tinubu’s unplanned London visit

Renowned artist, Charles Oputa, well known as Charly Boy, has voiced his concerns over President Bola Tinubu’s well-being after his recent sudden trip to London.

President Tinubu reportedly departed Riyadh, Saudi Arabia for London, England, subsequent to attending the World Economic Forum in the Gulf nation.

Since departing Nigeria for the Netherlands on April 23, Tinubu has been on the move.

The Presidency’s silence on Tinubu’s unannounced London trip has sparked various reactions.

In his response, Charly Boy questioned if everything is okay with the President.

He criticized the Presidency for “stirring up the country with extremely false and distorted claims”.

According to him, Tinubu is not suitable to lead Nigeria and should step down.

On Monday, Charly Boy posted on his X handle: “Hey, where’s your President? Is everything alright with him?

“Tinubu’s propaganda machinery has been stoking the country with highly fake and distorted lies, however, propaganda cannot take the place of economic strategies.

“Hey, is it Peter Obi that’s causing Nigerians to suffer like this? Did Peter Obi reveal to APC how hollow they are?

“Has spurious propaganda become the tactic utilized by APC in all political spheres, to consistently undermine and assail any perceived opposition with ethnic and religious daggers wielded by their associates? Obi has consistently borne the brunt of these malevolent characters.

“Nigeria has disappointed. Tinubu, please resign, this task surpasses your abilities.”
