In the Premier League this season, Fulham defender Calvin Bassey attributes the team’s impressive performance to manager Marco Silva.
During the 0-0 draw against Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium on Saturday, the Whites secured their 10th clean sheet of the season.
Fulham has already secured their safety in the Premier League with only a few games remaining in the campaign.
Bassey is confident that under Silva’s leadership, the London club will continue to achieve success in the future.
According to Bassey, as quoted by the BBC, “The disruptions [from injuries] were challenging at times, but we maintained our focus and trusted the manager and the plan.”
He added, “The progress he has made has been remarkable, and we are excited about what lies ahead.”
Continuing, Bassey emphasized the importance of upholding the principles introduced by the manager and continuing to build on the foundation he has established.
Bassey joined Fulham from Ajax, the Eredivisie powerhouse, last summer.
