Champions League and Confederation Cup finals dates announced by CAF

It has been confirmed by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) that the dates for the finals of the Champions League and Confederation Cup have been set.

The finals will be held in May 2024, following a home and away format.

The initial match of the CAF Confederation Cup final is scheduled for Sunday, May 12, 2024.

Subsequently, the second leg will take place on Sunday, May 19, 2024.

Rivers United, representing Nigeria, will be challenging the current title holders, USMA from Algeria, in the quarter-finals.

Stanley Eguma’s team will confront the Algerian side in the first leg at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo on Sunday.

Regarding the CAF Champions League, the first leg of the final is planned for Saturday, May 18, 2024.

Following that, the second leg of the final will occur on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
