During a birthday phone call, Former President Muhammadu Buhari expressed his support for the administration led by President Bola Tinubu.
Garba Shehu, the spokesman for Buhari, shared in a statement that the former president made this commitment in a conversation with Tinubu.
Buhari called Tinubu to personally wish him a happy 72nd birthday, following up on a previous public statement.
The statement mentioned, “Former President Muhammadu Buhari, followed up his public statement with a phone call to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to convey his best wishes for a happy 72nd birthday to the President.
“During the conversation, the former President reiterated his full commitment to the success of the APC administration under President Tinubu.
“Buhari prayed earnestly for Tinubu’s success, emphasizing the importance of praying for a leader as their success and well-being are crucial for the nation, noting that the achievements of the new administration should be seen as national accomplishments.”
