Man City Accept Chelsea’s Offer for Cole Palmer: Medical Scheduled
Chelsea are one step closer to acquiring Manchester City midfielder Cole Palmer, as the player is set to undergo medical tests.
On Wednesday, both clubs reached an agreement on a £45 million deal for the 21-year-old.
This announcement was made by Fabrizio Romano on his verified Twitter account.
According to Romano, he tweeted, "Cole Palmer will undergo medical tests as a new Chelsea player on Thursday.
£40m will be the base fee, with an additional £5m in add-ons, just as I reported earlier. Time to start preparing the necessary documents."
Despite scoring in the Community Shield and in a Premier League match against Burnley this season, Palmer has decided to leave the reigning Premier League champions.
It is believed that the player is eager to receive more playing time.
