Atalanta advances to Europa League final with Lookman’s goal and assist

In a thrilling match, Atalanta secured their spot in the final of the UEFA Europa League with a convincing 3-0 victory over Marseille, with Ademola Lookman shining as the hero.

Under the guidance of Gian Piero Gasperini, Atalanta emerged victorious in the semi-final tie, winning 3-1 on aggregate.

Lookman showcased his brilliance by scoring a goal and providing an assist for La Dea during the game.

This historic achievement marks Atalanta’s first time reaching the final of a European competition.

Lookman opened the scoring for the hosts at the half-hour mark.

Contributing once again, the Nigerian international assisted Matteo Ruggeri for Atalanta’s second goal in the 52nd minute.

Lookman was substituted by El Bilal Toure with 13 minutes remaining, and Toure sealed the victory with the third goal in stoppage time.

Throughout the season, Lookman has impressively scored 12 goals and provided seven assists across all competitions for Atalanta.
