Following an alleged case of car theft, Naira Marley has chosen to pursue an out-of-court settlement after being granted a final opportunity to appear in court.
Reportedly, Naira Marley’s legal representatives have implied that the charges against him and his brothers might be dismissed if negotiations with the complainant’s lawyers are successful. The charges include conspiracy, stealing, assault, and obstruction of the police.
Mr. Awokulehin Ayodeji, the rapper’s counsel, revealed to The Nation that the Police are open to a peaceful resolution of the matter, stating:
“We hope that an agreement will be reached before the next adjourned date. The police have no problem with an out of court settlement.”
