In the race for the Premier League title, former Togo striker Emmanuel Adebayor believes Manchester City will come out on top, edging out Arsenal.
Arsenal currently sits at the top of the table after a 3-2 victory over Tottenham Hotspur, but their lead is slim with City trailing by just one point and a game in hand.
Adebayor cautioned Arsenal about possibly dropping points in their remaining three matches, casting doubt on their ability to secure nine points.
Speaking to Premier League Productions, Adebayor said, “Anything is possible with Arsenal given their talent and youth. However, I’m not convinced they will come out victorious in their last three fixtures. Remember, they recently suffered a home defeat to Aston Villa.”
Comparatively, Adebayor expressed confidence in Manchester City’s consistent performance, stating, “If you ask me whether Man City can win their next 20 games, my answer would be yes. They have shown they have what it takes to achieve that level of success. Arsenal appears to be improving, but the certainty of winning their remaining games remains in question.”
