The Honorable Patrick Aghamba, who serves as the Commissioner for Youths Development in Anambra State, and his wife have allegedly been taken captive.
Sources indicate that during the abduction, an assistant to the commissioner named Mr. ABK Offiah lost his life.
Although the authorities have yet to confirm the incident, reports suggest that the kidnapping occurred while they were en route to Abuja.
It is believed that they were en route to the wedding ceremony of the daughter of Anambra’s Governor, Prof Chukwuma Soludo, named Adaora, who recently celebrated her traditional marriage.
