Xavi’s Omission of Barcelona Star Vitor Roque Prompts Talks of Permanent Transfer – Agent Confirms

Amid a breakdown in communication between Vitor Roque and Barcelona’s manager Xavi, agent Andre Cury has raised concerns, hinting at the possibility of the player leaving the club permanently this summer. Cury criticized Xavi’s handling of Roque and the apparent lack of dialogue between the two, sparking speculation about Roque’s future.

Speaking on RAC1, Cury stressed that any potential departure for Roque would not be a loan deal but a permanent transfer. Expressing confusion over Xavi’s decisions, Cury reiterated their intention to open discussions with Barcelona regarding Roque’s future promptly.

“There will be no loan deal. If a move happens, it will be a permanent transfer. The situation where Xavi does not utilize him and fails to communicate with Vitor is unjust. We will engage in talks with Barcelona about his future soon,” Cury stated.

“We opted for Barcelona because Vitor has a deep affection for the club. Despite having more lucrative offers elsewhere, the priority was always Barça. However, if internal solutions cannot be found, we may have to seek a permanent transfer elsewhere,” Cury added.
