Wizkid throws shade at Don Jazzy following Ladipoe’s mockery

Renowned Nigerian musician, Ayodeji Balogun, famously known as Wizkid, has responded sharply to music mogul Don Jazzy after Mavin’s artist Ladipoe took a jab at him.

Ladipoe, a rapper signed under Don Jazzy’s record label, recently teased Wizkid over his controversial statement about “hip hop being dead.”

“Nigerian rappers who survived ‘hip hop is dead’ are now witnessing Afrobeat artists face their own challenges,” Ladipoe tweeted via X.

A fan brought this shade to Wizkid’s attention on Monday morning. The Starboy boss simply replied, “lol never chatting to anyone signed to an influencer. Next.”

Additionally, he shared two retweets implying that he was alluding to Don Jazzy as a social media influencer.
