According to Pastor Ashimolowo, some clergy in Nigeria are charlatans and fakers of miracles. During an IG live session with Lagos clergyman, Poju Oyemade, he cautioned the church in Nigeria to be wary of these individuals who are only interested in their own gain.
He specifically mentioned instances of pastors in Nigeria using a woman with a “bad hand” to perform fake miracles in their churches. He also indirectly criticized Prophet Odumeje, a controversial Anambra-based clergyman known for throwing and receiving money from his congregation during preaching sessions.
In the live session, Pastor Ashimolowo expressed concerns about these individuals who claim to perform miracles but are actually perpetrating falsehoods for personal gain. He urged young men born in the fire of genuine revival to be cautious and not be misled by these fake miracle workers.
