Warning from ICPC to corps members regarding corrupt practices


In an interview with NAN, Mrs. Winifred Ngboro, the Head of Public Enlightenment and Education Unit at the ICPC Osun office, urged corps members in Osun to actively participate in the fight against corruption and social vices in the country.

Ngboro emphasized the crucial role of the ICPC in combating corruption-related activities in Nigeria, stating that collective efforts can help reduce the prevalence of negative societal behaviors.

She highlighted the ongoing commitment of the commission to advocate against all forms of corruption to create a system free from such detrimental practices.

According to Ngboro, the ICPC is authorized to conduct system assessments within government institutions to ensure compliance with established procedures and standards.

Additionally, she mentioned that the ICPC is responsible for enforcement, investigating reported offenses, and prosecuting individuals found guilty of corrupt practices.

Ngboro also mentioned that the commission will maintain partnerships with key government anti-corruption agencies to promote a corruption-free and disciplined society.
