Wanted Suspects Include Monarch and University Lecturer

Among the individuals declared wanted by the Defence Headquarters for their alleged involvement in the March 14 killings of 17 officers and soldiers in Okuama community, Delta State, is Clement Ikolo, Urhukpe 1, the recently installed Ovie of Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom in Ughelli South Local Government Area of Delta State.

Clement Ikolo is the traditional ruler of Okuama, a community within the Ewu-Urhobo Kingdom.

Also listed as wanted by the Defence Headquarters is Prof Arthur Ekpekpo, the President-General of Ewu communities and a well-known university lecturer.

Among the wanted suspects is Akevwru Daniel Omotegbono, also known as Amagbein, a suspected militant leader who was tracked by soldiers to the Igbomoturu community in the Southern-Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa State, but managed to evade capture by going underground.

The list of wanted individuals also includes Atata Malaw David and Sinclair Oliki, believed to be associated with the Amagbein gang.

Also on the wanted list are Andaowei Dennis Bakriri and Igoli Ebi, who is said to be the mother of one of the suspects, as well as Reuben Baru, a young man who gained attention for a recent viral video where he provided insights into the motives behind the soldiers’ killings.
