Reports indicate that numerous individuals sustained injuries following a confrontation between hoodlums in the Ile-Epo area of Lagos State.
According to Punch Metro, the altercation commenced in the local market on Wednesday night and escalated throughout Thursday morning.
During the clash, several shops were set ablaze and a substantial amount of merchandise was ravaged.
It was observed by our correspondent, who inspected the site of the incident, that attempts by the police to intervene early on were thwarted by the unruly individuals involved.
Furthermore, a fire service vehicle that arrived at the market earlier today was compelled to retreat after being targeted with projectiles.
