Video: Police in Lagos Provide Water and Biscuits to Protesters

Witnesses captured a video showing officers from the Lagos State Police Command distributing bottled water and biscuits to protesters in the area.

According to reports from NewsNow, demonstrators from the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and other concerned citizens are currently rallying against the escalating cost of living in Nigeria.

The protest began early Tuesday morning as protesters gathered at the Ikeja bridge for a two-day nationwide demonstration.

Prior to the commencement of the march at 9:15 am, Mrs. Funmi Sessi, the NLC Lagos State Chairman, addressed the crowd, highlighting the economic challenges faced by workers and the general public in Nigeria.
