Uzodimma endorsed as zonal coordinator by APC South East leaders

On Wednesday, APC leaders in the Southeast region declared their full support for Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, who has been designated as the party’s coordinator for the zone.

The backing came following the announcement by APC Chairman, Dr. Abdullahi Ganduje, appointing Uzodimma as one of the six zone coordinators across the country.

Signifying their trust, a letter signed by the National Vice Chairman (Southeast), Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu, and Anambra State Chairman, Basil Ejidike, was issued.

These party leaders expressed confidence that under Governor Uzodimma’s leadership, the APC will secure control in both governorship and legislative positions in the region, as well as clinch a significant number of seats in the National Assembly during the upcoming elections.

Commending the national leadership for the appointment, the APC state chairmen affirmed their support for Uzodimma, emphasizing his pivotal role in fortifying the party’s presence in the Southeast.

They lauded the governor’s broad acceptance and popularity across various demographic groups in the region, recognizing his profound grasp of the region’s socio-political dynamics and his exceptional ability to mobilize support for the party.

The letter also acknowledged Uzodimma’s outstanding efforts in expanding the APC’s influence in the region, transforming it from a minor political entity to a dominant force.

The leaders from the Southeast highlighted that eminent figures including former governors, ministers, legislators, and youth organizations are transitioning to the APC, driven by the leadership of Governors Uzodimma and Francis Nwifuru of Ebonyi State.

Calling upon all APC members in the region to be prepared for the forthcoming challenges, the State Chairmen declared that the party is now warmly embraced in the Southeast.
